Just a Question About Supervision

Hi All,

I was reading NASP’s vision statement on supervision today and I was agreeing with how important it is to have mentors available at every point in your career.

However, in some districts, Principals actually supervise school psychologists. While I know mentorship could be obtained in other ways, what are your thoughts on this? I am somewhat hesitant to put my career in the hands of someone who doesn’t really understand your job.
